This mark is for a photographer who covers the music scene in Chicago. To support the idiosyncratic business name and nature, the mark reads both as an eye as well as a head wearing headphones.
To give the photographer a unique and memorable way to simultaneously reinforce his identity and promote his work, the design vocabulary includes using images within the shape of the mark.

They tasked me with creating thought-provoking messaging for their web site to introduce their ideas and offerings. I was asked to work within existing WordPress themes using as little customization as possible in bringing this to life.
The exploration, part of which is shown here, brings in whiteboard-type imagery, computer iconography and verbal cues to reflect their Silicon Valley heritage.

This identity was created for a Denver health club which caters primarily to women. The monogram within the mark hints at a heart shape appropriate for their cardio emphasis.
The bold, clean and colorful presentation projects a vibrant and engaging presence. The imagery used in the system conveys a sense of fun and invites partcipation. The home page is shown on the right.

Let’s face it, information management is not the most compelling subject matter. The people responsible for articulating corporate policy at Chevron knew this and asked us to create materials to engage employees through several channels.
The policy was rolled out with this lively visual treatment for the brochures and an internal web site which incorporated the same visual themes. The overall visual and verbal tone were designed to calm fears and generate interest even among those with technophobic leanings.
