Role: Design, Illustration
GE is in the process of transforming the way they think about machines and the world we live in. By building in smart sensors which are networked to the “internet of things,” they want to revolutionize their businesses.
To help tell this story in a compelling manner, the new GE Software division asked me to create imagery for its web site. The images we developed call attention to the hidden technology within the familiar world.
These illustrations (from a larger set) were created to convey key concepts of GE’s Predix platform offering. The arrows as a device convey the digitally connected nature of elements within GE’s environment. In addition they unify the set visually and draw the user’s eye downward through the content.

Working with: Factor Design
In support of its “imagination at work” brand platform, GE needed to align the design of its consumer packaging with the rest of its visual language. This was no small feat as even within the realm of consumer products, the range of GE’s line is wildly diverse.
The solution is a system which includes elements to compete on shelf, supports the brand architecture with its tiered approach to marketing segmentation and clearly communicates product features and benefits.
